How to Link Domain Name in Breeze?
We recommend using Cloudflare to connect the domain to Breeze. To connect the domain name in Breeze, you have to:
Once you have completed both the tasks, you can link the domain name in Breeze.
#1 Linking Domain in Breeze
Follow the steps to link the domain in Breeze.
Step 1: Login to your Breeze Platform
Step 2: Select the Company you like to work on
Step 3: Click on ‘Sites’ to open the site list
Step 4: Open the site you want to work on
Step 5: Click on the ‘Domains’ from the options at Left
Step 6: Click on Add to Add a Domain
Step 7: Add Domain Name
You will find all the domains you added in the list.
Step 7: Click on the Action and Select Cloudflare >Link DNS
Step 8: Click on Add to add the DNS
Breeze will automatically fetch the matching domain name. Click on Add to add the selected Domain.
The Domain will connect and you will see a little DNS flag on the domain name.
Now you can install the SSL on the domain name and make it the primary domain.
#2 Changing the A record of Domain
The Domain is connected, but you also have to change the A record of the Domain name to point it towards the Breeze.
Step 1: Copy the IP for DNS from the Domain Page.
Step 2: Click on the DNS to find the connected Cloudflare account
Step 3: The next page will show the DNS Setting for the Domain. Click on Pencil icon to configure the A record.
Add the IP Address you copied from the Domain page and click Save. That's it. The Domain is linked to Breeze.
