How to change SFTP password?

SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) is a secure file transfer protocol. It runs over the SSH protocol. It supports the full security and authentication functionality of SSH.

If you like to change the website’s SFTP password, you can do it right from the Breeze Panel.
SFTP Change Password
Follow the steps to change the SFTP password:

  1. Login to your Breeze Platform

  2. Select the Company you like to work on

  3. Click on ‘Sites’ to open the site list

  4. Open the 'Store' you like to work on

  5. Open the Access panel from the options at Left

  6. Click on the change icon to change the SFTP password

  7. A notification will be shown after the password is changed


For security purposes, we will generate the new password instead of giving the option to set one.

Every time you click on the reset password icon, a new password will be generated, following all the best password practices.
You can copy the SFTP password from here or view the existing password.
